Credentials and Compliance

How long does the Lifetime Labour Warranty last?

It's a Lifetime Labour Warranty, so it isn't tied to a set number of years. Your job stays backed indefinitely, not just for a short introductory period.

Do you provide proof of licensing on request?

Yes. We're licensed under NSW Plumbing Licence #292427C, and we're happy to confirm that on request before or during a job. Licensed and insured, water and gas, both trades covered.

What qualifications does a licensed plumber actually need in NSW?

A licensed NSW plumber needs a recognised plumbing qualification plus a current individual or contractor licence issued under NSW law. Gas fitting work needs its own separate licensing on top of that. We hold both, so one visit can cover a plumbing fault and a gas fitting issue.

Does your warranty cover parts as well as labour?

Our Lifetime Labour Warranty covers the labour on our work, which is what the name describes. Any parts or components carry their own manufacturer warranty, and we'll talk you through what that covers when we fit them.

How Our Response Works

What if no one answers when I call?

We're open 24 hours for same-day emergency service, so someone always picks up. Prefer not to wait on hold? Use the callback form and we'll ring you straight back, day or night.

What happens after I call?

We talk through what's going on, work out how urgent it is, and get a plumber moving toward you. Once we're on site, we diagnose the fault, explain it in plain terms, and agree a fair price before any work starts.

Are you really open 24 hours?

Yes, genuinely. Same Day Service and round-the-clock availability aren't just words on a page, that's how the phone actually gets answered, holidays and weekends the same as any Tuesday.

Can I track when the plumber is on the way?

Once you're booked in, our team keeps you updated on where things stand so you're not left guessing. We'd rather you know what's happening than sit there wondering.

Pricing Questions, Answered Honestly

Can I use the $65 offer with any service?

The $65 off your first service offer applies to new customers booking with us for the first time, across our emergency plumbing services. Flag it at the start of the call and it comes off your job.

Do returning customers get a better price?

The $65 off offer is reserved for new customers on their first service with us. Returning customers still get the same fair, upfront pricing and Best Price Guaranteed on every job, just without that first-time offer.

Is the quote free even if I don't go ahead?

Yes. Our plumber looks at the job and hands you a fair, upfront figure, no strings attached. Deciding not to proceed is entirely your call, and there's no catch either way.

Do you ever charge more once you're already on site?

No, not on the work we've quoted and you've agreed to. If something extra turns up beyond that scope, we explain it, quote it separately, and get your approval before touching it, rather than adding it to the bill unannounced.

Local Knowledge, Local Answers

What plumbing issues come up most in Burwood this time of year?

Burwood's mature street trees, especially around Federation-era pockets, keep root activity high through the warmer months, which pushes older clay sewer lines toward blockages. We also see hot water systems in the suburb's older housing stock fail without warning.

Is stormwater flooding common in parts of Burwood?

Burwood doesn't see tidal or river flooding, but the dense CBD around the station has enough hard-paved area that heavy storms can surcharge stormwater drains at low points. It's a runoff issue tied to density, not a waterway one.

How often should older Burwood homes get their plumbing checked?

Burwood's mix of pre-1940 Federation and Victorian homes often still runs on original galvanised supply pipes and ageing hot water units, so a periodic check catches corrosion and wear before it becomes a burst or a failure. We're happy to talk through what that looks like for your property.

Does Burwood's soil affect underground pipes?

Burwood sits on reactive clay and shale, and ground movement in that kind of soil puts real stress on older rigid pipework over time. It's one more reason ageing lines in the suburb are more prone to sudden failure.
